Ahhh, I forgot to find a place for this! Oh well, it can have its own post. While we were visiting the castle it became apparent they were filming a movie/tv show. We were tipped off by the presence of smoke machines and these guys:

From our investigations (i.e. looking at some signs around the place) this is for some show called Emerald City, a ‘dark, edgy version of the Wizard of Oz’. Spoiler alert: it looked pretty bad based on what we saw. Like a very cut-price Game of Thrones. Maybe they can salvage it in production? Anyway, fun fact – it does have Vincent D’Onofrio in it. I hope he is playing his character from Daredevil but in a faux-medieval outfit…
